Hello! I'm Katie, a 20-something hazel eyed, Florida-native, beach loving kind of girl, who is a confessed monogram junkie, a lover of all things pink and sparkly, with an obsession of music... the kind that sings a melody to your soul. I have a passion for college football {Roll Tide}, and spending quality time with the ones I love on a daily basis. I believe in finding the good in every day, the silver lining in every dark cloud, and singing & dancing in the rain (despite my two left feet and off tune voice). I enjoy taking pictures, err... selfies, and someday hope to learn how to use that fancy camera my sweet man bought me a few years ago. I loveee all things organized and fancied up, planning events, and crafting 'til I'm crazy! I'm an Occupational Therapy Assistant who works with the elderly and with children, working three jobs six days a week, who is completely and utterly busy... which is exactly why I started this blog (because I don't know what it means to just relax), to help me stop and take a moment to breathe in all the wonderfully small (but truly, big) moments life gives us.
I thought that it would be fun to keep an online account of some of the fun, crazy, exciting, challenging, eventful, rarely dull, and fun-loving moments that I get to experience in efforts to maybe spread a joyful noise into this crazy, scary world we all live in. Believe there is good, be the good. You may find little glimpses of my not-so-secret fascination with the Avett Brothers, chocolate, Starbucks coffee, pink peonies and blue hydrangeas, the color mint-green, home design, and wedding planning (yay! I can say I'm engaged now!).
